ハワイ州マウイ島で発生したこのたびの大規模な山火事によって、多くの方が被災され、お亡くなりになりました。ここに、日蓮宗を代表して、尊い命を落とされた方々のご冥福をお祈りするとともに、被災されました皆様に衷心よりお見舞い申し上げます。

また、未だ安否不明となられている方々の早期発見と被災地の１日も早い復興を心よりお祈り申し上げます。被災された方々の心に安寧が戻り、穏やかな日々の生活が取り戻されることを切に願っております。

 

Condolences for the Victims of the Maui wildfires

 

Many lives were lost and many people are suffering from the large-scale wildfires that recently swept the island of Maui in Hawaii. On behalf of Nichiren Shu, I would like to pray for the souls of those who lost their precious lives and express my heartfelt sympathy to everyone who was affected by the disaster.

I sincerely pray for the safety of those who are missing and their immediate rescue, and the safety of those engaged in rescue activities. For those suffering from the effects of the disaster I sincerely pray for peace and speedy reconstruction and hope the missing are quickly found, and that reconstruction of the disaster stricken areas will happen immediately without delay.

We pray that peace returns to the hearts of those affected by the disaster, and hope the security of daily life will be restored.
